New Yorkers Get Six Days for Fieldwork

New York had an excellent week for field activities with an average of 6.0 days suitable for fieldwork. Temperatures were reported with a high of 86F, a low of 34F and a state average temperature of 63F.
Oats harvested for grain and second cuttings of hay are almost finished for the state, while corn for silage harvest has just begun.
Field activities involved preparing for wheat planting, manure spreading, fall tillage, and spraying.
