NYS, Federal Reserve, Extension Hosting Free Forum Today
New York Ag Connection - 05/25/2017

Empire State Development, New York State's Department of Agriculture and Markets, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York join the Cornell Cooperative Extension in hosting a free conference and resource expo to help people in the food-and-beverage, and agricultural industries access capital and grow their business. The state announced the free forum on Wednesday.. Industry representatives will provide small business owners an inside perspective on alternative funding sources, and what lenders look for in potential borrowers.

Representatives from the following agencies will be attending:

- Cornell Cooperative Extension

- Adirondack Economic Development Corporation

- Development Authority of North Country

- Farm Credit East

- Point Positive, Inc.

- USDA Farm Service Agency

- USDA Rural Development

- Watertown Small Business Development Center

Today's free forum is being held at Jefferson Community College's Jules Center Amphitheater, 1220 Coffeen St., Watertown from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
