95 Percent of NYS Spring Tillage Complete

According to the National Agricultural Statistics Service in New York, there were 6.0 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending Sunday.
Topsoil moisture supplies were 10 percent very short, 31 percent short, 57 percent adequate, and 2 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies were 12 percent very short, 24 percent short, 62 percent adequate, and 2 percent surplus.
Spring tillage was 95 percent complete in New York.
