Egg Production Up 10 Percent in New York

New York egg production totaled 143.0 million during August 2016, up 10 percent from last year.
The total number of layers during August 2016 averaged 5.68 million, up 10 percent from last year.
August egg production per 100 layers was 2,520 eggs, down slightly from August 2015.
